This white stone tower, 8 meters tall, is located on the westernmost islet of the Pakleni archipelago, about 10 kilometers west of Hvar. Its focal plane stands 31 meters above the sea. The hexagonal cylindrical structure is built from stone. The lighthouse emits a single white flash every 6 seconds and has a geographic range of 15.5 nautical miles. While the site is open to visitors, the tower itself is closed to the public.
Why it matters: The lighthouse marks the western extent of the Pakleni archipelago, guiding vessels approaching or leaving Hvar and helping to prevent groundings on local reefs.
