This cylindrical steel skeletal tower, standing 14 meters tall, was first lit in 1884. It is painted white and features a gallery. The lighthouse is mounted on a square, one-story masonry equipment shelter. Its green light emits two flashes every 5 seconds, visible for approximately 11.9 nautical miles. The structure replaced an original iron column light established in the same year. The site is open to the public, though the tower itself is closed.
Why it matters: This lighthouse marks the end of the main breakwater in Rijeka, guiding vessels into one of Croatia's busiest ports.
