What is MarineRadar

MarineRadar is a real-time vessel tracking and maritime intelligence platform. It provides live AIS-based ship positions, detailed vessel information, and comprehensive databases of ports and lighthouses worldwide.

The platform aggregates data from the Automatic Identification System (AIS) — the transponder-based tracking system required on international voyaging ships by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Port data follows the UN/LOCODE standard, and lighthouse information is sourced from official Lists of Lights published by hydrographic offices.

MarineRadar is available as a free app on iOS and Android, and as a full-featured web application at marineradar.com.

Built by Lascade

MarineRadar is developed and maintained by Lascade, a technology company focused on building tools for the maritime industry. Lascade designs products that make maritime data accessible and actionable for professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts.
