MarineRadar displays live ship positions and movements using AIS (Automatic Identification System) data, making maritime tracking accessible to professionals and enthusiasts alike.
With nearly a decade of experience in mobile app development, Jaseel founded Lascade to build technology products that solve real-world problems. MarineRadar is the studio's flagship product, developed from the ground up under his technical and product leadership. His goal has always been to simplify vessel tracking so that anyone — whether a logistics coordinator, maritime researcher, or shipping enthusiast — can understand where ships are and how they move.
Under his leadership, Lascade has grown MarineRadar into a comprehensive maritime intelligence platform tracking over 112,000 vessels, cataloging 20,559 ports and 14,900+ lighthouses across 236 countries and territories. The platform is available as a free app on iOS and Android, and as a full-featured web application.
Jaseel continues to lead Lascade's product and engineering efforts, working on features like route replay, port traffic monitoring, and advanced vessel search — making MarineRadar more useful for its growing global user base.
