The lighthouse, first lit in 1872, has a focal height of 17 meters and emits a white flash every 15 seconds. Its structure includes a lantern and gallery atop a square tower, which rises from a one-story keeper's house. The lighthouse has a geographic range of 12.4 nautical miles. It is located about 12 kilometers southeast of Veli Lošinj.
