Stari Grad grad je na otoku Hvaru u Hrvatskoj, u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji. Mještani ga zovu Stori Gr(u)od. Također ga zovu i Paiz, iako se taj naziv više odnosi na užu, stariju gradsku jezgru. Najstariji i u Hrvatskoj najdugovječniji grad koji je 2019. godine proslavio svoj 2403. rođendan. U gradu se nalazi sjedište Hrvatskog saveza daljinskog plivanja (HSDP), čime je Stari Grad jedino otočno mjesto u Hrvatskoj u kojem se nalazi sjedište nekog nacionalnog športskog saveza nekog olimpijskog športa.
