About Otočić Zečevo Lighthouse
A white, cylindrical stone tower, 6 meters high, stands at the eastern end of Otočić Zečevo. This uninhabited islet is located off the north coast of Hvar, near Vrboska. The lighthouse has a focal height of 11 meters and emits a white flash every five seconds. Its geographic range extends to 10.7 nautical miles. The site of the lighthouse is open to visitors, but the tower itself is closed to the public.
Why it matters: This light warns mariners of the presence of Otočić Zečevo islet and aids navigation in the coastal waters between Hvar and the mainland.
