The dwelling, painted white with a gray dormer and shingled roof, shows light from both a dormer window and a second-floor gable window. The focal height of the light is 12 meters, offering a geographic range of 11 nautical miles. Its light characteristic is an occulting white signal every 5 seconds. In 2016, the northbound directional light was updated, replacing a previous front range light. The site is open to the public, but the keeper's house itself is closed.
