This navigational aid stands on the spur of the northeast breakwater for Tomis harbor, adjacent to Constanţa. The structure is an 8.5-meter cylindrical cast iron tower painted green, featuring a lantern and gallery and supported by five iron posts. It emits a green flash every 3 seconds, visible for 10.4 nautical miles. The tower's focal height is 10 meters above the water. Although the original distinctive tower has been replaced by a light on a mast, the location continues to serve as a maritime marker.
