This stone building, constructed in 1972, stands 9 meters tall with its light positioned 14 meters above sea level. The structure, a two-story stone building, is painted red and is located at the east end of a pier. It marks the western side of the entrance to Constanţa's inner harbor. The light emits a single red flash every 3 seconds, visible for 11.6 nautical miles. It has been operational since its first lighting in 1972.
Why it matters: This light frames the entrance to the inner harbor of Constanţa, guiding vessels into one of Romania's significant Black Sea ports.
