Location & Light Range
About Toftum Lighthouse
This square wooden lighthouse was built in 1904 to guide ships through the west basin of the Limfjord. Standing 4 meters tall, its white tower features a single red horizontal band. The light emits white, red, and green signals, changing color based on approach direction, through a square window. The lighthouse is located on a golf course near Toftum Bjerge, about 2 kilometers southwest of the Oddesund bridge. Visitors can access the site, but the tower itself is closed to the public.
Why it matters: The lighthouse provides essential directional guidance for vessels navigating the Limfjord's west basin.
