The lighthouse is situated on the northeast side of Otok Krk, marking the south side of the narrow entrance to Soline Bay, approximately 3 km east-northeast of the town of Soline. The structure is an octagonal stone tower with a gallery. While the site is open to the public, the tower itself is closed.
