The Hjarnø Forfyr is a 6-meter tall cylindrical wooden tower built in 1902. It is painted white with three vertical red bars on its seaward face. The light, a green isophase light on a 2-second cycle, is mounted on the outside of the tower near the top. This structure guides ships into Horsens Fjord from its position on the northwest side of Hjarnø island. The site is open to the public, but the tower is closed. The nearest port is Horsens, located 6.5 kilometers away.
