About Haldrup Forfyr Lighthouse
The Haldrup Forfyr, built in 1902, is a cylindrical wooden tower standing 8 meters tall. Its light is displayed through a square window on the top floor of the three-story structure. The tower is painted white and exhibits a red flashing light characteristic. This navigational aid is situated in a farm field, about 1.25 kilometers southeast of the village of Haldrup, on the north side of the Horsens Fjord. It is located approximately 3.5 kilometers from the nearest port of Horsens. The site is open to visitors, though the tower itself is closed.
