The Amerigo Vespucci left Montreal on August 3. Italy's Navy training ship had been moored at the Grand Quai du Port de Montreal since July 28 for the final port call of the North America Campaign 2026. Quebec City was the earlier Canadian stop.
With Montreal done, the ship set course across the Atlantic for Italy. Each stop on the campaign opened the ship to visitors, part of the Italian Navy's mission to bring the country's culture and history to ports around the world.
