A drone struck the cargo ship MV Reyhan Sari in the Black Sea on or around July 20, 2026. One crew member died. Three others were injured. Turkey opened an investigation into the attack.
Anadolu Agency, Hurriyet Daily News, TRT and Daily Sabah all reported the strike. The ship was Turkish-flagged and was near Russian waters when it was hit. No group has formally claimed responsibility.
