About Ytre Seikklaken Lighthouse
A 9-meter tall, round, white concrete tower, constructed in 2007, marks the entrance to Værøy harbor. The light's focal plane is situated 10 meters above sea level. It displays an occulting white light with red and green sectors that repeats every 6 seconds, with a geographic range of 10.4 nautical miles. The structure was put in place using a helicopter. Access to the site is permitted, but the tower is not open to the public.
