This concrete tower is located on a spit marking the southern entry to Ljusne, about 13 kilometers south of Söderhamn. The round structure, painted white with one red horizontal stripe, stands 7.5 meters high. Its light is positioned 9 meters above sea level. The illumination displays white, red, or green, with an occulting white characteristic and red and green sections every 4 seconds. The visible range extends to 10 nautical miles. Access to the grounds is permitted, but the tower interior is not open.
Why it matters: The lighthouse's directional light marks the entrance to Ljusne, serving as a navigation aid for local watercraft.
