About Træskohage Lighthouse
Træskohage Lighthouse, built in 1904, is a 16-meter tall, two-stage round cylindrical tower with a lantern and double gallery. Situated on a point of land on the north side of the Velje Fjord, west of Fakkegrav, it has a white exterior. An upper stage was added after 1920, modifying its original design. The lighthouse operated until 1982. Following a restoration completed in 2017, it is now open to the public and located within the Hedensted Municipality.
