About Tingholmen Lighthouse
Tingholmen Lighthouse is a white, square pyramidal tower with a lantern and a red lantern roof, standing 6 meters tall. Its focal height reaches 8 meters, providing a geographic range of 9.7 nautical miles. The light emits two white, red, or green flashes every 8 seconds, indicating the southern entrance to the Høgsfjord. This current structure replaced an older tower on the same site. Tingholmen is situated on a small island about 5 km northeast of Hommersåk and 8 km by sea east of Stavanger.
