The Strandanes Lighthouse stands on the southeast side of Averøy, guiding ships into the Kvernesfjord. This octagonal, 6.5-meter fiberglass tower is painted white with two black horizontal bands. It emits an occulting light that flashes three times in white, red, or green every 10 seconds, depending on the direction. The current structure replaced an earlier square tower. The lighthouse's focal height is 6 meters, and it has a geographic range of 8.9 nautical miles.
