Stornesøra lighthouse is a square skeletal tower, 6.5 meters tall and covered with siding, topped by a red lantern roof. It stands on a promontory marking the northern point of Inderøy in the Beitstadfjord. The focal height of its light was 5 meters, offering a geographic range of 8.4 nautical miles. The lighthouse was operational until late 2020, after which its light was extinguished. A new offshore light now serves the area.
