This 8.5-meter fiberglass structure is mounted on a platform supported by piles driven into a skerry within the Sandøyfjord, off the east coast of Sandøya. Painted white with a red roof, it emits a white, red, or green light that flashes every five seconds. The focal height of the light is 7.5 meters, providing a geographic range of 9.5 nautical miles. Access to the site is by boat only, with the tower closed to the public. It is located near Tromsø in the Troms region of Norway.
