The structure is an 8.5-meter-tall octagonal tower made of white concrete. Its light displays a single white flash every 4 seconds, with a range of 11.6 nautical miles. The site is open for visits, but public entry into the tower is not permitted. Mokpo, the closest port, is 13 kilometers distant.
