The Skardholmen lighthouse was a white, square tower standing 6 meters tall, with a focal height of 13 meters. It featured a red lantern roof and a gallery. This structure guided mariners on a passage south of a small island near Jøstølen, west of Smøla. Its light produced a single blue flash. The lighthouse ceased operation in 2022 and has since been removed from its location. While the site is accessible, the tower itself is no longer present.
