Shaganash Island Lighthouse, constructed in 1910, is a square pyramidal wooden tower reaching 7.5 meters in height. It supports a red lantern and gallery above a white body adorned with red trim. Its light, situated at an 11-meter focal height, produces a white flash every 4 seconds (Fl W 4s) and is visible for 10.7 nautical miles. Located on an island east of Edward Island, it is about 25 kilometers northeast of Silver Islet on Lake Superior. In 2014, Canadian Lighthouses of Lake Superior took over its management and undertook restoration and repainting. The structure received Heritage Lighthouse status and ownership transfer to CLLS in 2023.
