Built in 1855, the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse is recognized as Maryland's oldest screw-pile structure. This lighthouse stood 16 meters tall, with its focal plane at 12 meters above the water. It was originally situated atop Seven Foot Knoll in the Chesapeake Bay. The structure has since been decommissioned and relocated to serve as a museum exhibit within Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
