About Admiralty Head Light Lighthouse
Constructed in 1903, the Admiralty Head Light stands 30 meters tall. Its focal plane reaches 40 meters above sea level. The lighthouse, which once emitted a white light, is no longer operational. It is situated on Whidbey Island within Fort Casey State Park, overlooking Admiralty Inlet. The site is now a public attraction.
Why it matters: This lighthouse served as a counterpart to the Point Wilson Light, located four miles across Admiralty Inlet.
