This lighthouse stands on Rock Island in the Saint Lawrence River. Construction was completed in 1848, the same year it was first lit. The tower itself stands 9 meters tall, with the light positioned at a focal height of 15 meters. The structure is no longer operational. The island is managed by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and functions as Rock Island Lighthouse State Park.
