About Rewa Lighthouse
Also known as: #Rewa
The Rewa Lighthouse is situated on the north beach of Rewa, a resort town on the southern side of Puck Bay. The current structure is a concrete pyramidal skeletal tower, standing 8 meters tall with a focal height of 10 meters. It is painted orange and features a white trapezoidal slatted daymark. The light emits an occulting white, red, or green signal on a 4-second cycle. This navigational aid replaced an earlier structure between 2016 and 2019. The site is open to the public, but the tower itself remains closed.
Why it matters: This light is essential for local navigation within the shallow Puck Bay, guiding recreational and fishing vessels along the resort town's northern beach. Its directional light helps mariners discern safe channels and avoid hazards in this popular waterway.
