The Pointe aux Pins Range Rear lighthouse, a square pyramidal wood tower, was constructed in 1903. It stands 17 meters tall and is painted white with red trim. This structure, attached to a one-story wood residence, guided vessels navigating the west side of Sault Sainte Marie near the end of Point Louise Road. It ceased operations around 1975 and was subsequently sold and moved to private property. The original keeper's house associated with the lighthouse was destroyed.
