This concrete cylindrical tower, standing 12 meters tall, was first lit in 1966. It is located on a hill in Tamukeyama Park, within Kitakyushu. The structure features a square base and a white exterior. Within a triangular daymark, the light is displayed as a panel of horizontal neon tubes. The lighthouse was rebuilt in 2013.
