This yellow, cylindrical masonry tower, standing 20 meters tall, was built in 1902. It is situated off Augustenhofvej on the northwestern end of Als, west of Købingsmark and approximately 4 km northwest of Nordborg. The lighthouse emits an alternating white, red, and green light that cycles every 5 seconds, with a focal height of 27 meters and a geographic range of 14.7 nautical miles. The structure includes a lantern and gallery. A keeper's house, built in a 2-1/2 story hipped-roof style, is also part of the station.
