About Møn and Bogø Lighthouses Lighthouse
A 6-meter cylindrical cast iron tower, erected in 1911 at the northeastern point of Møn, was painted with red and white horizontal bands. Its lantern was positioned 163 meters above sea level. The light emitted was yellow, flashing F.Y. 177, and offered a 20 nautical mile visibility range. The lighthouse ceased operation and was dismantled in January 2024. The location is open for visits.
