This square pyramidal steel skeletal tower stands 12.5 meters tall, with its light positioned 27 meters above the water. It emits a white flash every 10 seconds, visible for nearly 15 nautical miles. The original lighthouse, a wooden structure built in 1902, was demolished after being deactivated. The present steel tower became operational in 1967, continuing the function of this important navigational aid.
