It is situated on a reef about 2.5 kilometers northwest of the Gasado light station. The lighthouse emits a white flash every 10 seconds from a focal height of 16 meters, with a geographic range of 12.2 nautical miles. Access to the site is permitted, but the tower itself is closed to the public. The nearest port is Daebul/Yeongam-gun, located 19.6 kilometers away.
