A fiberglass tower, built in 1980 and painted white with two horizontal red bands, stood at Little Narrows. This structure was 10 meters tall with a focal height of 4 meters and emitted a green flashing light. It was situated on the east side of the strait, approximately 800 meters north of the Little Narrows ferry. The light had a geographic range of 6 nautical miles. The lighthouse was operational from 1980 until its deactivation in 2010.
