Île du Moine Range Front Lighthouse

The Île du Moine Range Front lighthouse, erected in 1906, is located on the southwestern end of Île du Moine, about 7 kilometers east-northeast of Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel. A square wood tower, 5 meters in height and with its light at a focal height of 13 meters, rests atop a square pyramidal concrete pier. The tower is painted white, featuring a bright orange-red forward face and a black vertical stripe. It shows a green flashing light (F G) with a 6-second period, offering visibility up to 11.3 nautical miles. The location is open to visitors, but the structure is not.
