The Jangjukdo Lighthouse, first illuminated in 1997 and later rebuilt in 2020, stands on an island situated in the strait between Jindo and Hajodo. This octagonal white concrete tower measures 8.5 meters in height, with its light positioned 18 meters above sea level. The lighthouse emits a white flash every 6 seconds, visible for 12.7 nautical miles. It is located approximately 31.6 kilometers from the nearest port of Wando. The structure serves as a navigational aid on the northern tip of the island.
