About Ivory Island Lighthouse
Ivory Island Lightstation emits a white flash every 5 seconds from a focal height of 20 meters. This light has a geographic range of 16 nautical miles. It is situated at the junction of Seaforth Channel and Milbanke Sound, along the Inside Passage of British Columbia. The station was involved in the British Columbia Shore Station Oceanographic Program for 18 years, from 1937 to 1955.
