It is painted white with two black horizontal bands and a red roof, and its focal height is 9 meters above sea level. The light emits an occulting white, red, or green signal every 6 seconds, visible for 10 nautical miles. This structure replaced an earlier light that served this coastal area. The lighthouse is situated on a skerry near Titran, off the southwest coast of Frøya in Norway's Trøndelag region. The site is open to the public, but the tower itself is closed.
