It displays an isophase white light with a 6-second cycle, offering a geographic range of 12 nautical miles. The light is situated on the southern tip of Gasparilla Island, within Gasparilla Island State Park.
Why it matters: This light marked the entrance to Boca Grande Pass, a waterway leading to Charlotte Harbor.
