A tapered, square, white concrete skeletal tower with a gallery, standing 11 meters tall, was built in 2000. This structure features a focal height of 14 meters and emits a green flashing light every 5 seconds, visible for 11.6 nautical miles. It is situated at the end of the breakwater for Galdu, a small port located in Ttangkkeut village. This location is very near the southernmost point of the Korean peninsula. The light was removed from the Admiralty list in 2023. The site is accessible to the public, but the tower itself is closed.
