This yellow, cylindrical concrete tower stands 21 meters tall on the eastern end of a detached breakwater. Located on the east side of Gadeokdo, north of Daehang, it marks the breakwater's extremity for vessels. The lighthouse emits a single yellow flash every six seconds, visible for 13.6 nautical miles. Its focal plane is 22 meters above the water. The structure is an octagonal cylindrical tower painted yellow, situated near Busan New Port.
Why it matters: The light marks the eastern extremity of a detached breakwater, providing a clear navigational aid for vessels approaching or departing Gadeokdo.
