A concrete post light, 13 meters in height, once stood on the east side of Finnsnesrenna, south of the Gisund Bridge. It featured a cylindrical tower painted white, topped with a red lantern roof and a gallery. This structure was mounted on a round concrete pier. The lighthouse guided vessels through the Finnsnesrenna waterway. Its operational life concluded in 2014 when the structure was demolished.
