Enragée Point Lighthouse stands as an octagonal concrete tower, 13 meters tall, built in 1957 on the northwest point of Chéticamp Island. The tower is painted white with a red lantern. Its light, situated 22.5 meters above sea level, emits three white flashes every 24 seconds, visible for 13.7 nautical miles. The station was first established in 1937, but the original lighthouse burned down in 1956, leading to the construction of the current structure. The Canadian Coast Guard maintains the operational lighthouse, which is located about 0.9 kilometers by water from the nearest port of Cheticamp.
