About Ediz Hook Lighthouse
This lighthouse, built in 1865, was located on Ediz Hook near Port Angeles, Washington. The original structure from 1865 was replaced in 1908 with a new lighthouse. A final automated beacon was established in 1946 on the United States Coast Guard air station at the end of the hook. The tower was painted green and white, standing 15.2 meters tall. It emitted a green and white flashing light, with a geographic range of 16 nautical miles.
