A white, 5-meter tower, this light became operational in 2022 at river mile 164.3 on the east side of Lake Peoria. It emits a green flash every 6 seconds, visible for 8.4 nautical miles. The structure replaced an earlier navigational aid. The Eastport Marina, where it is located, has since updated its outer breakwaters to floating barriers. The light stands at the former end of the main breakwater.
