Built in 1901, the Charlos Harbour Range Rear light is a square pyramidal wood tower standing 7.5 meters tall, painted white with red trim. It originally served as the rear light in a range system guiding vessels into Charlos Harbour. The light became inactive in 1988. In 2008, it was moved inland near the west end of Charlos Cove village along NS 316 and restored by local residents. A further relocation occurred in 2023-24, positioning it on Wharf Road overlooking the harbor.
