Built in 1879, the Brush Wharf Range Rear lighthouse is a square pyramidal wood tower standing 5 meters tall. Initially positioned on the wharf near the Douse Point Range Lights, it displayed its light through a square window. The range was abandoned in 1947 after the front light was destroyed by fire, leading to the structure's deactivation. The tower has since been relocated from its original waterside location and is now situated behind a private residence off Orwell Cove Road. It is currently in a critically endangered state due to lack of maintenance, with mildew on its walls and missing window panes.
